The title intrigued me enough to pick it up and start reading. It soon grabbed me and I finished it off in a few days despite being busy with work and other distractions. Craig Groeschel's book "The Christian Atheist" will hit every Christian at a different level, but it will hit. The sub title "Believing in God but living as if He doesn't Exist" is the theme of the book and as he goes through the chapters, it begins to dawn on the reader that he just might be right. Each chapter is another test by which you can gauge your life to see if you are living as a nominal Christian.
He does not condemn or judge, but merely tries to point out there is so much more blessing in store for those who live to their potential in Christ.
The author's style is engaging, humorous, easy to grasp, and is full of stories from his own life and indeed he makes himself quite vulnerable as he tells of his own "atheism" even as he was a pastor of a large and growing church.
In the end, we are greatly challenged to examine our own lives and begin to give more that lip service to our faith. I think you, like me, will find more than a few chapters really hitting home. I highly recommend this book to all kinds of atheists.
