Today I attended the memorial service for Eugene Reimer. Not only was it a wonderful tribute to Eugene, but it was also very God honouring. There were many recognizable faces in attendance and it was a credit to Eugene that he was not only well known in his community and province, but that he had an impact on so many lives. The tributes given to him by his nephew Colin, his children, and Rick Hansen were written and delivered in such a way as to inspire. His accomplishments as a disabled athlete are unparalleled.
