Day 6

As promised, here are a few interior photos. The kitchen/eating/family room is an open area concept, very spacious with lots of elbow room.

Looking from the kitchen into family room area with all the latest bells and whistles. I am really enjoying the HD cable package they have here. It is enough to get me back watching TV, except there are no hockey games on the radar here in the desert. :(

The owners opted for a pool table in the dining room. There are plenty of areas to eat so I am good with this.

The third bedroom with double beds top and bottom and another bed slides out from underneath the bottom one.

Guest bedroom.

Master bedroom. What a comfortable bed!

Soaker tub, large counter top with two sinks, and enough mirrors to inspire another diet.

Large glass wall shower with rain shower head.
There is more, but you have all seen toilets and laundry rooms.

Last night we did two quite wonderful things. After the pool guy left, we thought we would see how long it took to heat up the spa. Less than an hour and it was up to 102F. Of course, to not use it would have been a waste so we jumped in, before dinner. It was early evening and the moon was coming out. It was luxurious, divine, and exquisite all at the same time.
It would have been good to flop into bed at that point, but we got out and had dinner. Feeling a bit rejuvenated by a good plate of pasta and a garden salad, we thought we would take advantage of the moonlit night. We live just off Hovely Lane, a road about 1 mile long. Every block there is a cul-'d-sac running off in both north and south directions. We walked every single one of them, searching out the Christmas lights, which we find are a bit in short supply here in the USA. I will blog about that later. We slept very well indeed after all that walking and fresh air. It was cool, but because it is dry, we were able to be out in hoodies and were quite comfortable.
In my next post, I will tell you what we did this morning. I still cannot believe I consented to it!  I must go onto the pool deck now, put my feet up, and enjoy the sun. It is the best way to recover from this morning's ordeal.
