Here it Comes

Oh no! Here it comes. Just when you thought you could relax for a few more years, talk is in the air. Do those Liberals not take polls before flapping their jaws about another election? What are they thinking? Canadians will go to the polls if they have to, but you can be assured that many will vote against the Liberals if for no other reason than it is a bone-headed idea to have a fourth election in five years. The Liberals are only full of criticisms and have presented no clear plan to do any better than the Conservatives. Mr. Ignatief, the 'All American' Liberal leader, says he will get Canada out of its huge deficit and debt hole without raising taxes. When asked how he would do that, the best he could come up with was, "Wait and see." This is a joke. Is he not the one that was calling for more government 'stimulus' spending? And now the G20 nations are calling for the same thing and he purports to be more of a 'world class leader'. As Prime Minister of Canada he would have to go along with that insanity and our deficit and debt hole would only get bigger.
Debt and deficit are only reduced two ways. Cut spending, and/or raise taxes. Liberals have never cut a penny from spending in their political lives so that only leaves them with tax increases. 70% of a countries economic activity comes from consumer spending and we, the consumer can only spend when we have discretionary income. Tax us to death and see how much money we have left to spend.
