Warm September

The garden is still awash with saturated colours.
A little Adobe Photoshop fun with a Morning Glory, but really, how can one improve on nature?

The purple Sweet Peas are catching the late afternoon light.
From gardens to politics, but that is how my mind works. The Montreal Gazette had an article on political polls last week regarding the threatened election. It showed in a very convincing manner, that the Liberals had no chance of winning the next election with a majority, so why bother forcing one at all. Jack Layton says he is not convinced that an election in necessary. Ignatief says he can no longer support the Harper agenda. The Conservatives say "bring it on".
They all have an agenda and it has nothing to do with governing in the best interests of the people. It is about getting and holding power. Meanwhile, we as the tax payers of Canada, have a very real prospect of spending another $200 million on an election that will bring yet another minority government, the same thing we have now. Just when the weather in Ottawa is cooling down, the election rhetoric is heating up. Are you as tired of it as I am?
