In Spring this little stream is overflowing its banks and floods the plain just below it. The road to this park is underwater and the little community downstream is flooded. Later, in summer, this is a very cool spot on a hot day with all the tall trees, shade, and rippling water. In Fall, salmon come up this waterway to spawn. This photo, taken in late Fall, shows how beautiful it is when the water is at a reasonable level. The downside is that this is a popular dog walk and one has to watch one's step when wandering through here. Not all dog owners are responsible.
